In this program have I, Jean- Pierre Barda and my lovely sidekick Bingo Rimér opened up the doors to our studio, where we give Swedish celebrities a new look.
But also a chit chat moment they will never forget. In tonight's program comes Martin Rolinski from BWO. Now he is actual with his first solo album and also newly become smallkids parent.
Which starts off with a easy chat, Bingo Rimér soon get off track with, as usual.
M:-It's so damn fun that Bingo comes here and give a good inspiration.
J-P:- Isn't it ?
M:- I notice that we sit here having a deep conversation about being honest to yourself and all of a sudden Bingo comes in and talks about neighboursex and that I should look like Gustaf Vasa.
Bingo:- Go ahead.
M:-Thank you.
Bingo:- Now we are only going to make a pre-photo. And for us it's good if this pre-photo is really ugly.
Bingo:- Martin is incredibly handsome,incredibly bright, incredibly nice and incredibly talented. He is an ubermensch.
J-P:- Please tell me if I should jump in somewhere ?
M: -What did you say ? Masturbate ?
M:- I'm not vain directly. It is more like that you wear the scenery clothes and your private clothes. I have not really taken the step that the scenery clothes should be worn like private clothes. But I think it's important what you wear reflects you as person. And that you are pleased and feel relaxed with it.
Bingo:- Damn, it's impossible. You look so handsome Martin.
J-P:So Martin go ahead.
M:- Thank you.
J-P:- Come in and welcome in our little....
M:- How nice you have made it here.
J-P:-..you can call it a Bodoire ?
M:- Yes a Bodoire. I hope you always have the photo there. Also in your home.
J-P:- I have that one and some others at my on my bedside table.
M:- Is it shine, Martin shine ?
J-P:- Oh God yes.
M: Maybe I should be a bit worried as J-P and I know each other. Maybe he wants to fool me and have me to look like a maniac. But I trust him and believe it will be really good. If J-P not wants to fool me I know it will be good.
M:- How often do you think a guy should cut the hair ?
J-P:- It's so different, as shorter hair as more often to have a fresh formation of the hair. As longer hair as longer can you wait. And you are somewhere in between. It's not odd that you get into phases that you goes from this formation to the real long. Cause this is a formation that you can just let grow and still look OK.
J-P:- I was involved in the start project of BWO. It begun with a project that Alexander and I started. And it ended with that I didn't participate. But another dude was intended. And then Martin came up. It was more interesting. And the most interesting was the big age difference then.
It gave dynamic all of a sudden between those grown up Marina and Alexander and the young guy.
And then all of a sudden how dusky but interesting.
J-P:- You have a lot to do nowadays ?
M:- Yes, first of all there is a wonderful little creature by the name Isabella that I take care of. That we maybe can hear a beep from here now and then.
J-P:- Then we know what it is.
M:- Yes, precisely. And then I am in full swing of finishing my solo plate.
J-P:- That is incredible exiciting.
M:- Yes, it's fun.
J-P:- You have always always been. Well you are famous from a group from earlier.
J-P:-BWO.
M:- Exactly, one thing in common.
J-P:- It was really close that we become band friends.
M:- Yes, we were almost that in the beginning.
J-P:- For a very short time and starting with something almost like this. Cause we were in my home cutting you first time.
M:- Yes, way long back. You have always taken care of me and BWO's appearance since the beginning.
J-P:- How exciting with a new soloalbum.
M:- Yes, exactly. It's really fun. I have been spending one year to find the right people to work with. And I have landed there now. So I have almost made all material and is in full swing. It is hell among the most fun I've done.
J-P:- Isn't it scarey also, cause I have only been in groups also, then I have done a few things on my own. And there I have always felt that I have missed this with the gang. When you do something together.
M:- Shared happiness is double happiness or what you say. It is really, that is a part of delightment, but scarey also. The funny was when we started BWO we said we make one or maximum two records together. And then 6 records later, well we got on for so long and part of that was that we felt we like each other, but we wanted to do something else, cause music is something that you always need to feel a craving for. To be able create something now and something exciting, with other words develop yourself.
J-P:- What do you want to express ?
M:- Love and...... no I'm only joking. Peace on earth.
M:- What I did learn when you are creating music is that you it's not just about the song you sing, it's about the whole concept. It's what I still think about when I make a solo album, a solo career. That it's must be carried through the whole way. Both music but also the visual. What do you have in the video, what do you wear, what are you trying to mediate. And that is the song, the production in the song and what you wear. And there were we very consistent in BWO. You need to take your responsibility for that when you create music.
J-P:- Is it nice to be on paternity leave ?
M:- Yes, it's really nice.
J-P:- Isabella is your first.
M:-Isabella is my first child.
J-P:- I have no kids but it's not hard to feel this..it must be really spaced, that it's someone that is like a mini, half of, like a mini you.
M:-It's hard to explain what it is about. Life get a whole new perspective and it's...spaced is a good is actually a good word.
J-P:-What's nice with Martin is that he is a young guy but has something mature. He has something that is so mature over him. He has a foreign descent with Polish parents. And I believe that is the precocious element of another upbringing from home. I recognize that in myself also. Not no longer. Now's the opposite. I'm childish. But I was myself precocious when I was younger.
M:- So in general as an artist all is built up on that you have to be egocentric. It's nice to not be that for a change and talk about someone else. You have an outlet for that when you work like this and I got that when I worked and was sitting in different meetings discussing about other things. It happened that..it was some fun sometimes..hell what you look like he that guy!
J-P:- That happened for me one time in a cab. It's a long time a go, but I rode with a cab and I had my assistant with me. And I was pretty used by this time. And the driver looks at me in the driving mirror and I remember we looked at each other, soon it will come. And then at last, hey you, you look like him in this band. And my assistent said Army of Lovers ? Yes. But do you know said the driver, I have a friend that is more look alike then you. Wonderful !
B:- Excuse me.
J-P:- I was only thinking the thought.
B:- It's like the neighbour in Seinfeld. Just coming in.
M:- Exactly.
B:- It's damn un-Swedish. In Sweden you don't knock at the neighbours directly. Do you live in an apartment ?
M:- I live in an apartment. We have a courtyard. That helps. Cause you get a bit of villa-esteem.
B:- Now you don't like, in front of millions of people to talk dirt about your neighbours or so. But do you have a great relationship to your neighbours ?
M:- Unusually good actually. We have quite float. No sects or Scientologists or weird stuff.
B:- Yeah and I have moved in to Katrin's apartment at Östermalm. And there it is...
M:- Where did you live before ?
B:- I lived at south. But our neighbours. My new neighbours, they are, some of them are totally insane. For the first they are so pissed, cause there are no space for strollers. Then you put it outside the door. So every morning..this is so sick, so is there someone who comes up, pushes the stroller into the door. So when I get out through the door I have to push. Isn't that really sick ?
M:- The worst we have had was when we lived in the last apartment, when we had some neighbours that had loudly sex. We didn't solve that.
J-P:- Wasn't it inspiring ?
M:-It was ehh
B:- Is it so inspiring Jean-Pierre ?
J-P:- I have never had neighbours that has been like that.
M:- It's not inspiring. It sounds like barking dogs Jean-Pierre.
J-P:- Oh no how terrible.
M:- It wasn't us, but someone gave them a anonymous letter, like you do when you have trouble. Can you please have some quieter sex.
B:- Shouldn't you look good in Prince Valiant hairdo ?
J-P:- But that is a page like this.
B:- But the you need a small fringe ? High up.
J-P:- Like a roll ? You can get that feeling without making that fringe.
M:- It's a bit of Renaissance.
B:- Yes a bit but I want...
J-P:- He wants to have uprolled short Gustav Vasa fringe.
B:- Yes, that's right
J-P:- Like a little roll. Yes, but that would be nice.

M:- It has happened that I have woken up in the morning and just ran down to buy some sandwiches and I haven't looked so fresh out and then you have seen that on the whole internet. That is one problem when you are a public person.
B:- But have you makeup yourself like a woman ?
J-P:- That was an interesting question.
B:- I have done that. I did that once. Tito helped me with the hair. There was wax. We did a proper...
J-P:-Outfit..
B:- And there was my extraordinary sweet ex assistent and friend Philip Cederholm. He is Leonardo Di Capriccio handsome. And what I learnt then after fixing myself for 3-4 hours was, when we came..we went on a party together to give out some price on a gay gala. And I should walk in there like a lady and I thought it was very funny. Philip got all attention and then penny then dropped down and I realized why women internally are so pissed off.
M:-You felt bitter ?
B:- Yes, I became bitter. I had fixed myself for 3 hours and he just took over the whole show.
J-P:- He took the whole show ?
B:- And I walked there content and my tit broke. I was really damn pissed off.
M:- A damned monkey you thought ?
B.- Yes exactly what I thought.
J-P:- An interesting theory. It can really turn around, cause men put up more time for their looks today. The harder you try yourself, the greater is the price tag of the failure.
B:- Yes it is. It was then I understood and saw in front of me when we were standing in front of the mirror, then you start off with the elbow, try to steal the make up, try to make him fall and destroy. When I became drunk I started to talk dirt about Philip. Why he got so much attention. I became like that.
J-P:-Martin Rolinski has a true dream hair, curly and a handsome darkblonde tone. Hair style choice felt right given. Fairytale prince, the young hero, a courtly knight, yes a page simply.
B:- You look outrageously good. What nice...

B:- It's always a bit worrying with Jean-Pierre. Now I come.
B:- I'm only worried that I am starting to transform to a stylist sissy. If feel like you get withdrawn into everything. This giggly, underbelt humour. And it's so funny, but I have to break a bit. I am a hard cookie. A bad boy. A guy guy. I can't sort of. I'm starting to trip here in the studio.
B:- Jean-Pierre, now you are going to sit behind. You are a little cute flowering tree. So you're gonna sit like this behind.
J-P:- No
B:- Like this he is inside the flower.
B:- Good, play with the tree Jean-Pierre. They are alive. No don't look forward.
J-P:- I wasn't even decor, I was decor holder. Twig number 3. I'm holding them. That felt actually good. Sometimes it's good to not be in the centre.
B:- Fight Jean-Pierre. That's right. Smile a bit seductively. Ohh it's magic. Now you can rest Jean-Pierre.
B:- They fell down a bit in the end.
J-P:-That don't look so bad. Damn that is good.
B:- Yes it is. Handome. Perfect.
M:-What I will remember from this day is of course that Jean-Pierre was some kind of elk-flower behind me. You can't get away from that. Neighboursex will I also bring with me. Bingo's weird obsession to see me dressed like a woman. That's a lot. And of course I will bring with me a great styling.

Yes, finally ! Gravitonas will be on stage the 28th of October on a party in Stockholm.
A new videorelease will happen at same time.
I'm so excited over this. We have seen Gravitonas grow piece by piece and I must say it's an unusual way to present a new band, but also so interesting.
Many have been waiting to get the chance to see them. I'm sure this will be a very happy and lovely evening. Maybe, maybe I will be there.......... .

Alexander is ready for Melodifestivalen 2011 !

SVT revealed the 4 first contributions for Melodifestivalen 2011 today.
One of them is written by Alexander together with Tim Norell and Ola Håkansson.
The song is called "En blick och nåt händer" and will be performed by the group Lasse Stefanz.
Norell Oson Bard wrote a lot of pop- and discohits together in late 80ies and in beginning of the 90ies.
Together they wrote "En dag" that Tommy Nilsson performed in Melodifestivalen 1989.
He won and came on 4th place in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Lasse Stefanz that will be performing the contribution is a band that has been playing together since 1967. They are wellknown as a countryinfluenced danceband.

We wish Alexander, his cowriters and Lasse Stefanz good luck !

Gravitonas "The Hypnosis EP" out today !

4 new tracks and a new era in the musicworld of Mr Bard !
I adore the strong guitars. Can't reccon that I have ever heard the use of guitars in this way. I remember when Alexander wrote some day at Facebook about the hard work with getting the guitars right. And now when I hear this masterpiece, I am thinking that he is totally right ! But you made it Alexander.
Together with Andreas voice the first track "Religious" is already a hit. I wouldn't be surprised if "Religious" will be played at radio still 10 years from now. You know these songs that is forever on radio and noone ever get tired of them.
The choirs in "Religious" builts up the song so you feel to be in ecstasy in the end.
Number 2 "Realm of The Senses" is very catchy. It's about the world of Senses. Even if love is there or has left you still are in the "Realm of The Senses". You also get to hear a soft whispering in the middle. Andreas singing in this song is also different then "Kites" and "Religious". He is singing more free right out.
"Shameless" number three and I am trying to find each other. I think this is a song that needs to get more listening. It's not at all bad, but I miss something special in there.
In the last one "Live Wire" I can see Andreas leaning out over the audience singing in a foggy weather. It's mystery, but it's about life.
I do love when the more sort of robotvoice is coming in the refrain.
Very different song, but someone I would love to see live, it's sort of meant to be for that.

That is my words after listening to this new EP the last week.
What is also special is that all songs can be played in very different occasions. So I am looking forward to the album.

Arvikafestivalen and interview with Marina !

This Saturday Marina and Eddie performed with Page at Arvikafestivalen.
Unfortunately I couldn't go there, but Johan Wejedal was kind enough to send photo from there (that is the photo you see here !).
But a while ago I had the opportunity to ask some questions to the Marina. Here they are ! Thanks Marina !

What is the difference in making synth music now on, 20 years ago? You don't screw together the sounds manually anymore!

Are you more inspired after so many years in music than in the beginning? Definitely more now. With more experience, more enthusiasm.

Do you have the same role models in music today as when you started? Any Swedish/ foreign model. I do not think I have so many role models anymore. I first look at other artists, such as Goldfrapp and Florence & the Machine, for example, but it is more to see how they act individually as artists, how their attitude is. I have no Swedish model, feel quite odd here. When I was young there was the strong women who were my role models, such as Ellen Ripley in Alien.

Among the musical genres that exist, how come that it was the electronic music? I really do not know. I only know that when I heard Gary Numan for the first time it happened something in me. Perhaps the electronic sounds represented something new and alternative.

What does the music for you? Emotions and memories and love.

What started Page? Eddie and I met and got together 1980th We bought two synthesizers and started a band. All played in bands at the time, almost.

Has comeback been in mind long? No, the idea came spontaneously when BWO decided to pause.

What is the ultimate synth pop song? Good song with good sound.

What is your favorite song on the new album NU ? Du är inte här and Du är min drog.

Postkodkampen with Martin

A long time since I wrote, but I haven't forgotten about BWO or about Alexander, Martin and Marina.
Here is some news about a program that Martin will participate in:
This summer TV4 and PostkodLotteriet invite to the water entertainment Postkodkampen. Eight Swedish cities are challenging each other in daring and wet races. The programleader is Richard Sjöberg, which is assisted by Kim Kärnfalk and Sandra Dahlberg to support the teams when they put themselves through obstacle courses and games in a water basin. Each city is represented by a team consisting of five persons with a known team leader who offer themselves and fight for his place as Sweden's most daring city will be crowned. Flounders, cold drams, bail and drama is to be expected. In cooperation with Fyrishov, Uppsala.
Cities that meet in the first four programs is:
9 juli Göteborg (Martin Rolinski) - Malmö (Frida Appelgren)
16 juli Gävle (Fredrik Swahn) - Halmstad (Susanne Ljungskog)
23 juli Umeå (Jan Bylund) - Östersund (Anna Ottosson)

Page album "NU"

I was happy to see Page album "NU"(NOW) in my mailbox when I got home today.
After getting it into the stereo, wow I was back to being a teenager. I was back on all small clubs jumping around like crazy to a catchy electronic sound with amazing lyrics that are put together to be just remembered and sung by everyone fitted in dresses that just synthpoppers would use.
What I do remember about all those gigs is that everyone always looked so proper.
I don't know, but I believe some of those years formed me into what I became.
Among my friends I was the only one that was into this electronic "weird" music, that they didn't understand. But though they loved to follow me out on the clubs to see all bands. I think it must have to do with the special feeling you only can get on a night out on a club like this.
And I do recognize Page ! It is like going back to the beginning.
My favorit number 1 on the album is "INTE HÄR"(NOT HERE). The style of music feels though it's electronic music very soft and round and cozy.
In "TAR MIN ROCK OCH GÅR" the lyrics are amazing. Though they are short, they tell a story. Here in English( be aware LOL):

I think it's very brave of Marina and Eddie to come back after those 10 years and make a come back. For me this is going back to the "real" music that started the electronic era in music. For new bands coming up in the elctronic music listening to Page is a must. To have the basics, to now what formed the music we have today.
Marina and Eddie, I love what I hear and I hope this will be a start all over again among many bands like your band ! I hope you will lead them all.

-Welcome here Page. Marina and Eddie. How lovely to see you like this together again.
-New cd and reunion. How does that feel ?
Marina: It's really really fun. It feels like to going back to the roots I think.
-Synthduo or synthband ?
Marina: Popband is more suitable even if we are electronic.
- It was like when I tolaked with Eddie before that Page will be here...many just take a breathe and say so they are back. It's an incredible cult.
Eddie: You can say that we are a cultband.
Marina: We have been away for a while.
-How long have you been away ?
Marina: We started around 1980 and then we moved on in the 80ies and beginning of 90ies
with a lot of old stuff. But it feels a bit like time has caught us.
Eddie: So this year we celebrate 30 years as a band and 10 years since we stopped.
-So you haven't played...
Eddie. Not for 10 years.
-But why made you decide now we are going to do it again...now we make a new record again.
Marina: BWO takes, that I also play with...we have a sabbatical year for undecided time. And Eddie and I have had contact all the time. It only felt that this was the right time to do this.
We are so proud of Page. And so we also said that we don't want to release any old material.
I called Eddie and we wrote some songs together.
Eddie: It became so
Marina: Yes
Eddie: And if we ever should do this it was right now. Next year it is too late.
-Are we going to recognize the synthmusic and so on ?
Marina: You will recognize Page. But I don't think we sound like typical synthpop. We usually say that we play electronic pop.
-How has that one been developed, when you think that everyone can sit with their laptop and think they are Max Martin nowadays ?
Eddie: Before it was a very small changer. But now is everything almost electronic.
Marina: I mean time has caught us. In the beginning when we played it was very exotic with the instrument synth. But now anyone have that. But we stick to a very simple formula.

-What has happened with BWO Alexander ?

A:-BWO has taken a break, like you say. Martin Rolinski had the idea of having family and kids and so on, but it doesn't stop me from working. So I started to write together with a guy named Henke Wikström last Summer. And then we started to search for a singer to work with.
And the good thing with Andreas was the he write and produce himself.
We met one morning, started to work before lunchtime and by lunch the band was formed.

-That went fast.

A:- Sometimes all is so obvious in what you are going to do.

-But Alexander before you discovered Martin Rolinski you looked at a lot of guys. At least 35 to find him. And now you have found a new hunk ?

A.- Yes(laughing), I think so myself.

-How did you get in touch ?

A:- Actually it was our record company. We have the same record company and they made the proposal that we should meet. They had just signed Andreas and thought he would be one of the big stars.

Andreas:-The called me and asked, could you consider to try out for Alexander's new project. And before I had answered Alexander took the phone and said, Hi you wanna eat breakfast ?
We had breakfast and then to the studio.

A:- We had written several songs that Andreas sung amazing and I was really touched first time I heard him and just wanted us to work together. But what was so cool with Andreas was when we same afternoon went to his studio and he played four of his songs that knocked me out. And then we have written the whole disc together very fast for less then a year are we already done. The album will be here to Autumn, but this is the first single.

-Andreas what have you done before ? We need to know more about you.

Andreas:- Before I have been in different projects and bands, mainly in a punkband.

-So you are a musician straight through ?

A:-He had his first listhit(1) in Japan last Autumn as a songwriter. Without my interference.

Andreas:- With a more dramatic band, but a totally different musicstyle. Then we met and everything went perfect.

A:- I think we have that in common, we have a passionation for music. But we also like theatre. And that is the side...we rather call Gravitonas for a project cause it will be more theatrically then most rockbands are.

- But why are you called Gravitonas ?

A:- You need a great name. And I heard this word and thought it was neat and Andreas also likes it. Then we googled it and it showed that Gravitonas is the Lithinuanian word for the smallest particle in Universe. And the advantage with an obscure word is if you look at Google there are only four hits. And then we thought why not call ourselves Gravitonas, cause then all hits will be about us. Now there is like 5996 hits on us and 4 on the other.

-That is really cool, but it sounds a bit like you are an art project ?

A:- Yes. you can say so.

-You are performance.

A:- Yes, we have nothing against being called a project. Normally when a band is called a project then it's often negative " But we are a band and we play together". But this is born in the studio and it is a project and we like that it is a project and it should be a project.

-Cool.

- A great song. Makes me happy.
-But all you touch become gold, isn't it so ?

A:- I do hope so. I don't think I've ever been so passionated for anything before. It's funniest ever with music. I love all the new that happens with Spotify. We were very anxious about this with the record company that all should be available TODAY. On all places today at the web you should be able to listen to Gravitonas, it should just be there.

- But this is different then other artists cause they don't like Spotify ?

A:- Yes, but I think it's great. I love it myself. Have everything available, have it on the cellphone,have it on the computer. Give friends tips. Make playlists.
We make playlists on our website with other artist's music that we like. We want to interract with our fans in a way that bands normally don't do.

- Cool. But why do you think so ?

A.- It's new. It's exciting that happens in the music industry. It has been very depressing the last 10 years with filesharing and so on that has made that artists have got lesser and lesser to use. This with Spotify is so exciting for us artists cause it is beginning to bring in money in the bransch again. We have 14 remixes out on this song already today. From day one.
And that was inconceviable just one year ago.

-But you are behind Army of Lovers, BWO, Alcazar. Why does everything you do turn out so well ? Why do you have success ?

A:- I work with great people. That is the truth. It is called outsourcing when you work in the business life. For me is it natural to work with great people. You are not better then the ones you work with, so it is.
I got touched the first time I heard Andreas singing and wanted to work with him. When he then wanted to work with me it was crystal clear.

-Which of your songs have you made most money out of ?

A.- That is hard to tell. I have had a couple of worldhits that has been number one in 30 countries but its' surely some song that I have written to someone in Japan that has brought most money in.For BWO it is Sunshine in the rain. But that wasn't our version. It was a Chinese cover version. It was first in China for 3 months or something.

- Let's see if you get some Chinese version.

A:- That shouldn't be wrong.

-Andreas with did you know about Alexander before you met ?

Andreas:- Not that much. I knew him of course but I didn't know so much about his personality. I knew what songs he had done. But all went very fast, just one breakfast.

-How is it to work together with Alexander ?

Andreas:- It's very instructive and fun cause we both have job Damp. We will both make things very fast but with quality so it goes fast when we work. But it feels like flow all time.

- And you work all night long if necessery ?

A:- Yes we are mixing and mixing again until all is done. It should be perfect before so we are satisfied both of us.

-You are a lot alike then ?

Andreas:- Yes or it wouldn't be working.
A:- I'm not so used to haul projects, but with Andreas we really share.It's rather so I wonder what he needed me for.

-Who has the final cut ?

A:- We think the same. We were mixing some song in the studio yesterday and it was like now is all right. Now it's four magic minutes. Now is beginning to end right and we both agreed.
Like it should be in a great band.You should have same musictaste and same vision.

-But Alexander you have the rumour of being very smart. Do you find yourself smart ?

A:- What do you think about that(asking Andreas) ? You knock me out very often.
Andreas:- I find him very smart. But mainly very interesing. But if that is cause he is smart or not I don't know. But very interesting and funny.

-Is it right that you learnt the Swedish postnumber catalogue when you were 6, Alexander ?

A:- Actually I did. I was very bored. We didn't have internet then so I learnt the postnumber catalogue instead.

- But that is really fantastic.

A:- If I had been 6 years today I had been sitting by the computers all day long and just sucked all in. Cause I love information and knowledge. I am cruel at Suedeco.

-But I have to ask. Sometimes you wear shorts.But now you are all black.

A:- Now it's gone. Gravitonas and BWO must look different. And I like the black side you can see in the video. The melancholy we have in the songs with Gravitonas. It's exciting. Now I can bring forward the guy in me that has been a fan to Kent and Depeche Mode for all years. Now I can bring out that side. Even if this is our own thing with Gravitonas. You will be hearing that inspiration in Gravitonas.

-You are influenced by Depeche Mode ?

A.- I think so. It's very visible.That type of melancholy that is between pop and rock that uses both guitars and electronic you will find in Gravitonas very clearly.

-How does it feel to wear pants again ?.

A.- It's a bit sticky. I have still handsome legs under. Shorts with socks that was my thing has become very hip. I love fashion. And I saw in all fashionblogs this Winter that the exhibitions in Paris had lots of guys on the catwalks coming in socks and shorts. And I was thinking now is my look hip, now I have to stop with it. Next Summer you are going to see guys in shorts and socks, that will be hip.

- But what about your beard ? It's your signum your beard.(talking to Alexander)
There are rumours that you needed to get a beard now when you created the group.(talking to Andreas)

Andreas.- I didn't have to. But we sat one day working and it became very silent and Alexander said, have you tried beard sometime ? I don't think so. Alexander said, can't you let it grow for a month ? Then we take the video and the photos.

-You both look great. Good luck with Gravitonas !

- Chain stores and other shops with a trademark, where every store is identical to the next. If I do not want to look like anyone, why should I go shopping in a store that is completely impersonal?

What are you most pleased with about your appearance?

- The character. You can set me among a hundred faces and I'm still the one you remember. Do not forget that beauty is not very important in itself - respect is both more important and more sexually viable.

If you were a garment, which would you be?

- Pants. And now that everyone else has bought shorts with long socks (Dries van Noten 2010, hello?) I skip the shorts of course. It is time for men to wear black and Japanese again - surf clothing is stone dead.

What is your favorite accessory?

- Wallet.

The last is of course the most sympathetic, simply for self-respect is a much more beautiful "than greed or small-mindedness.

Do you take clothesadvice from your girlfriend or your mom?

- I will be happy to have clothesadvice from my guy, but definitely not from my mom. Women do not understand men's clothing. They always try to sissy men too much. Gravitonas has only male stylists. And absolutely no hair care products.

Once and for all, who is the world's best-dressed man?

- Lenin was the world's best-dressed man, but unattainable by style icon. For the ordinary mortal men Malcolm McLaren will be deeply missed.

Yes, finally we have gotten to both see and hear Alexander's new project Gravitonas.
"Kites" the first single is released as video today at Aftonbladet and you can also buy the single and all remixes on I-tunes.
Together with Andreas Öhrn, Alexander has created something different and something new. The last years the music business in the world has to a lot been the same, often when you hear something, then you hear a tune of something else. To tell the truth that is very boring.
"Kites" involves a test of something new. That is what I like with Alexander, he follows his talent in music and is always up to date doing something that not is heard before. That is my impression. I love the use of the guitars.
"Kites" is made in a way that you don't know for sure what is coming as next part. A good example is the strong part at 2.20.

The future of BWO

BWO goes separate ways now.
They split up indefinately-to pursue on their solocareers.
Martin Rolinski and Alexander Bard goes separate ways.
BWO is now put on ice for indefinite time.
Faced with the singer Martin Rolinski, 27, last year became the father explained that the pop band BWO taking a break.
Many Swedish media reported that the band would come back with a new album already in 2010.
But that is not the facts.
The musician, Alexander Bard, 49 and the singers Martin Rolinski and Marina Schiptjenko, 44 are now all in new projects.
And BWO´s future is completely on ice.

-We believe that freedom is everything in the world. If we want to make a new BWO-album in couple of year because we think its fun, then we will do that,

Release new albums

Bard himself is current with the group Gravitonas together with the singer Andreas Öhrn and songwriter that release their first single next week.
Marina Schiptjenko has taken up her membership in the band Page, that releases an album in springtime and one the side she is managing the Andréhn-Schiptjenko gallery.
At the same time Martin Rolinski is sketching on a soloalbum.
-I have just started to work at it. I have been in the studio and started writing. The plan is to release it next spring, he says.

"Will not have an input"

BWO has been together as a band for 7 years, released 6 albums and competed in Melodifestivalen 4 times.
Both Martin Rolinski and Alexander Bard underline that there is no friction between them that makes them go separate ways.
-We call each other all the time and ask for general guiding, but we try to hold what we are working with quite separate. I don't want
to have to much of his input and he doesn't want to have to much of mine, says Martin Rolinski.
- I believe that we all have felt that it would be fun to get inspiration from elsewhere.

-Will you continue with BWO in the future ?

-Yes, that is absolutely the plan. We are not done. This is just a healthy break for the band where we can do other things that is fun.

Exactly one year ago we sat there in Himmelstalundshallen and waited for the Second chance. The duel between BWO and Lili & Susie was the hardest and we knew all would be very very close.
On Friday eve at general rehearsal I took this photo, it's not clear and not good, but it shows a bit of the fake drama that Martin and Alexander did when it stood clear that they won the fake voting at the general rehearsal.
I love when you can get moments like this one on a photo.

Tonight this years Second chance is in Örebro. Still those hated duels are in the Second chance. Tonight my vote will go to Alcazar and Headlines. I hope that you will vote for them too. Let's see if there will be a debate once again about the duels. I hope so, because I think this isn't a fair way to compete.

My BWO year 2009

So all BWO fans out in the world. A whole year has passed by, a year of BWO everywhere and anywhere. A very special year with music with a more new sound, a spectacular show in Melodifestivalen and of course including shorts (yes Alexander what would we think if you didn't wear that).
I hope you all have enjoyed your BWO year. I have had a fabolous year and I want to share that here with you all by telling some of my bloopers and some of the highlights during this year. The highlights are many more then the bloopers, phew lucky me !
BWO has taken me to many places this year and I have been on many trainrides through the country.
I went to Leksand, my hometown Norrköping, Stockholm several times, Eskilstuna, Motala, Örebro, Härnösand och Göteborg(Gothenburg). Could have been more places, but sometimes life around me is calling HELP ! Then I need to squeeze that in.

Leksand was the snow-white mysterious little place in Dalarna that went pink when Melodifestivalen arrived. My mainconcern in Leksand was how to get around in a wheelchair.
I learnt that there is something called cab and also great to have rescue people with you that can do first aid on the wheelchairs wheels when they get stucked cause of ice.
I had 2 girls from Sundsvall that was my first aid kit. Annelie and Ann-Sofie did first aid several times on my wheels by blowing hot air on them.
Another sight I can't forget is when Alexander, Marina and Martin together with Annelie, Ann-Sofie and me had a meeting outside the arena in Leksand in Ann-Sofie's little Jetta. Warm and cozy. The hysterical girl fans outside the arena most have wondered....... .
And so I won't forget the highlight, the magic...You're Not Alone on stage. I even have the original sound from Leksand in my mp-3 player.
To not forget the biggest blooper...when we made a big streamer and used spraycolors in a tiny room with bad ventilation. Yes we were high after !

To Norrköping I welcomed BWO to Second chance. And of course Annelie and Ann-Sofie joined me. Now we were even more prepared and the biggest highlight for the girls was to go by tram through my city.
Norrköping was cold....I wore shorts. As we all 3 were dressed in t-shirts with BWO's name on and of course I cheered for Alexander, then what was more important then to wear shorts and the double ties not to forget.
Madness was when BWO wasn't voted to the Final.....but we got to hear "Snälla, Snälla"...and that made me ripp my hair off ! Well almost...... .

In March during the Final of Melodifestivalen BWO Fanclub Worldwide had an official meeting in Stockholm. We were people from 4 different countries meeting up. Hey BWO you have made our world smaller...thanks for that !
The biggest blooper was when we were going to see Alcazar in Upplands Väsby and we got on wrong train. We got on a SJ train and hadn't paid tickets. So when the girl came noone of use were from Sweden...... .
We also had a lovely dinner at Göken with BWO, a cool little restaurant you need to visit if you come to Stockholm.

To Eskilstuna I went for the first official gig from BWO with RixFm in beginning of June. Guess if I melted though it was cold.
Another highlight when I was there was the visit from the King and the Queen of Sweden.
When I was on my way from hotel to the train in a corner there was suddenly policemotorbikes that stopped the traffic and so they came in a bus waveing to everyone. I also saw them later at a square in middle of city.

In middle of Summer I went to Motala to see the first fully concert of BWO. Motala appeared with great weather except when BWO should be on stage. The rain poured down right before.
The morning after my shoes were dead...I forgot to take them out of the bag.
So I had to go barefoot downtown the next day to buy a new pair....lucky me being a wheelchair girl !
A big highlight was to hear Love Came Crashing Down and when Alexander had done his part in Kings Of Tomorrow in discoversion, the stage was almost lifting !
OK, it didn't lift....but the feeling...... .

In middle of July I went to Örebro for their gig with Mix Megapol. To go to Norrköping from Örebro sometimes mean that you have to change train 2 times. So I had to this time and my train from Katrineholm to Hallsberg was late so I and another passenger was showed to another train in Hallsberg. And on we went. When we showed our tickets we got a smiling face towards us. We had gotten on right train but in wrong way. So we had to go to Motala and be there for an hour before the train could go back ! But it was a fantastic day, so off we went to the harbour for an icecream. I guess that was some purpose with that as I had been just some weeks before in Motala so I knew the way.

I could go on for hours and write about my BWO year, about Big Science, about my passion for the music...and all what has been happening during 2009...but I stop here.

Release of Kings of Tomorrow

Today was Kings of Tomorrow released as digital singel, both in ballad version and disco version.
I think it's very wellplanned to release a singel with those lyrics in a time where all is very dark, but the lights of December is coming on.
I have since I heard KOT have the thoughts of the future of us, the kids.
Many kids are left all alone and have noone who cares of them. The same is for many grown up people especially elderly.
So show some love around you, light some candles and smile. Maybe you can call someone you haven't been in touch with for a while or send a letter.
We all need a warm smile or a sweet comment now when all is so grey.
And remember to listen to Kings of Tomorrow.....

The meeting and the show

It has been a long day, but well worth everything.
After being downtown for a while we went to the Globe Arena and the citycentre there.
We had an marvellous lunch and then Alexander called us and we met up at a coffeeplace.
Cheerful and smiling all 3 of them.
During the meeting we talked about what's now and the future and also asked some questions that we had and also from fans.
We got some very interesting answers and I can guarantee you that you will love all about this.
As soon as we can we will share all with you at the website...so keep watching out.
We also gave them some special gifts that is suitable for the season and also I think they was suitable for them each.
So after a nice time with Alexander, Marina and Martin we headed to the show.

The show was really something odd. Was called a THE Christmas show BUT where was the Christmas...all I can say is that we know everything about ELVIS !
AS we say..The best is yet to come...and so the last to be on stage was BWO.
Love to see them on stage again...and probably the last time for very long..we'll see !

So after the show we took the most crowded underground I've ever have taken. But finally we dropped off at the right station.
And what did we see there..yes Mr and Mrs Rolinski !
A nice ending of a special day.

Yes, today I met Thomas at the centralstation in Stockholm.
Was nice to see him again. We didn't have time to go to hotel first cause we had a meeting with Robert Litsen at Bonnier Amigo, BWO's record label.
After going the centralstation up and down and back and forth we in the end got to the conclusion that the bus was just outside the entrance.
When we entered Bonnier Amigo Robert was there and took care of us.
The record labels locals were bigger then we thought and we got us a guided roundabout and was presented to some persons. Was nice to have a face on those persons finally.
The locations are really fresh and has been redecorated only a year ago.
Then we sat down with some coffee and a chat with Robert about all that is about BWO.
Thomas also presented his work during the years with BWO and how all started once upon a time.
Robert is a very nice and easy person to talk with.
Very interesting to see everything from the record labels perspective.
Some of what we talked about you will get in details on the fansite later.
THANKS ROBERT !

After our meeting we took the bus to the hotel and then took a dinner just around the corner. And now we are sitting here and planning for another busy and funny day tomorrow.

At the radiostation P3 populär they are now looking for the best song from 2000-2010.
One of the songs we can vote for is BWO's Open Door.
The voting is made like this, they start off with 200 songs,after week's voting they are reduced to 100 and then new voting again and then reduced to 50 and on New Year's Eve we know which is the best song during these years. Every week you need to vote again !

I must say they are good in different ways. But Cahill version stick out a bit and is more of a dance version that I would prefer at a disco. This weekend I was invited to an event where I did see BWO almost one year ago in Helsinki,Finland... The Drag Queen Show, arranged by Mega Paula a great Finnish dragshowartist.
I must just tell you, when I entered there they played Alexander Bard music.
I heard Crucified with Army Of Lovers !!!!!
I really felt welcomed. Was a nice eve with a funny and interesting competition, but also some good music, Man Meadow and Panu Larnos (he competed in Idol 2007).

I must tell you all, I had one of those aha moments yesterday.
My daughter and I was cleaning and I did put on some music from the 80ies. Suddenly I stopped because I heard something and that made me ohh wait what is this ???
I heard John Farnham with You're the Voice that was on the toplists in 1987.
The sound was somehow soooo familiar. I was thinking knives and forks together.
Then I had to listen to Big Science, Singing In My Car...and I heard a different more modern form of the knives and forks sound (yeah I know it's a silly name, but if you listen I am sure you know what sound I mean).
I have never ever heard this sound anywhere else..and I am...ehhh...hmmm...OK 43 !
I loved You're The Voice in the 80ies, but Singing In My Car is soooooo much better.
It's fun to have those aha moments, when you discover something new.

Tonight at Swedish Television STV2 the program Garage is sent 19.30(7.30PM).
Alexander will be in the program talking about how to make music.
The program is named " To write a hit takes an enormous talent".
In the program we also can see the artists Jonna Lee and J-son.
Andreas Carlson from the Idol jury will also be there.

This weekend Thomas from BWO Fanclub Worldwide and I have had some days in Stockholm together for some music and just holidays.
Saturday eve we visited Sommarkrysset at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, a TV-show with crosswords and great artists. This week presented Europe, Kim Wilde with Fibe Oh Fibes and Ola. And the programleader was Måns Zelmerlöw.
Suddenly Mr Alexander Bard turns up on the screen as Barbie and at same time we get info/news in tons about the band we love, BWO.
You could call that weird !

Yes in UK today the combination of Velvet and BWO with their amazing Right Here Right Now was released.
I am so excited for this release. First when I heard about this a couple of months ago I was thinking what the heck ! But now I see the whole idea with this.
Sometimes listening over and over again and some thinking gives you the aha feeling.
When I met BWO in Gothenburg they told me some more about the recording.
Velvet as the great singer she is had made the recording fast and easy just over one day in a studio.
The differences also in releases is that we listen to so various music in the whole world. What goes home in one country might not go home in another country.
I had the opportunity to see Velvet perform in Linköping at the Mix Megapol Tour when also BWO was there. She has a way of being on stage that reminds me of BWO. Yes if you put them on stage together that would be avesome I think. I hope,hope, hope to see them together. That was second time I saw them at same stage same eve, as both BWO and Velvet was in 3rd competition of Melodifestivalen in Leksand in February.
If you are interested in seing Velvet, she will be with Mix Megapol on Sunday at Gröna Lund in Stockholm.
Now just 14 days to Rice To The Occasion release...just can't wait !

Alexander's words about RTTO video

In Expressen there was a little article yesterday about the new RTTO video and here is a translation:

- The video is very pretty, but uncomfortable, "says Alexander Bard.
"Rise to the occasion" is the third single released from BWO's album "Big Science". The song describes Alexander Bard as a modern lovesong which gives a suggestive sense.
- I think it is great and hope it will be a hit, "he says.
The song differs some from the band's other songs because it has some r'n'b-influences. According to Alexander would BWO, who participated in Melodifestivalen several times, not able to make a schlager hit with this song.
- There is no schlager in it and it wouldn't go to sing it in Melodifestivalen, "he says.
Music video for "Rise to the occasion" was recorded during two intense days in early summer and then edited every day for six weeks.
- The video is spectacular and we are so happy.
Alexander Bard says that they were inspired by the German director Fritz Lang film "Metropolis" from 1927 when they made the dramatic video.
- Marina plays the largest role, a horror puppet from outer space, which we re-created from the film.
- The video is very pretty, but uncomfortable. But it is the meaning.

BWO's new video Rise To The Occasion

Today BWO's new video was released at Expressen.se. I am amused but also so amazed.
When you think that BWO has reached the point where they have done all you can think about, then they go on even further in development. Thank you for that !
From the very first beginning I loved RTTO when Big Science was released. RTTO is for me Marina's song out of different reasons. First of all she is part of writing this song, she also has a big solo part in the song and RTTO is very stylish, just like Marina is.

3 words popped up when seing the video-war, future and help. But all in a positive aspect.
I really love Marina's new hairstyle, so fresh, young and wild.
Her dress reminds me of the serie V from the 80ies, if you remember that one ?
Alexander, you look so darn cool by the keyboard, just like you always should be there not only playing, just look like a cool guy. Cause that is what you are !
Martin, it's so nice to recognize the movements you have from all the times I have seen you do RTTO live this Summer. Thank you for that !
The bust of Marina makes me think of some oracle. Very intesting turn the song has together there with the video...."and when you feel it's over I take you one step further". That makes you realise that there is always more to do, always more to feel, always more to explore. And together with others like friends, family or whoever it may be you can always reach longer.
I just want to say to Alexander, Martin and Marina..you have done it again..you have taken us by storm. Thank you !

BWO gig and meeting in Gothenburg

On my way down to Gothenburg heaven was open and you couldn't see out from the windows on the train. But Gothenburg appeared with a sunny side.
So what happened yesterday.... first of all there was a just great guy that sat by the piano in the restaurant Incontro and just played absolutely great music. Maybe not the best singer you can find, but in all he did do well.
A beer and first seat what more can one ask for ?
So the competition for Mix Megapol was up. This due to the jury was the best show they have seen so far. Well, I don't agree with them. But soo right I was the third time in this competition regarding winner ! It was a very young guy, only 18 but what a voice.
Another paus was up but the guy on the piano was back, so it was kind of nice.
On the artist site we could find Pauline first of all. I have really tried very hard to become friends with her songs...but I can't. I just get bored and tired. She has a beautiful voice, so it's ashame that isn't used better.
Maybe that is that I am not used to this music
OK after that Lili & Susie appeared. If you remember they were up in Second chance against BWO with their song Show Me Heaven. They were big in the 80ies and did now make a come back with Melodifestivalen and are now touring Sweden mostly with their older hits.

After that Alexander, Marina and Martin was up..the big highlight this eve. But what the heck did the staff do with the sound ? Wasn't loud enough and some problems with microphones.
Due to that BWO continued the best they could. I was mad though why this was going to happen the last performance. Oh well we can't get all in life can we ? But almost all !!
They did the same songs as they have done before at Mix Megapol gig.
A good mix. With LYLOM the audience woke up. I think over all the audience was very sleepy.
Marina, Alexander and Martin has a special appearance on stage where they look at each other and smile and you sort of feel that they are close in one unit and in this unit, having fun together. That makes them very special. I think for me that have seen them so many times this is more obvious. Though I am taking photos, I always get a lot of time to watch and hear.

Afterwards I met up with the band to make some photos and have a chat. We talked about almost everything between heaven and hell, so to speak easily.
I think they all 3 was pleased that the tour is over, though they love to be on stage.
Takes a lot of work to be out on the road and strenght of course.
So what is waiting now ? First the release in UK together with Velvet the 31st of August.
They all have a lot planned in the nearest future. But what would BWO be without 3 people that loves multitasking and also are very talented in different areas ?
And so the last words from them before we went different ways...

Yes this eve 13/8 they played their last gig for this time. A bit sad, but the show must go on.

Summer's last gig tomorrow

Body says no(pain) but mind and soul says yes ! And I have never been really good at listening to my body. Like one psychologhist once stated about me "you are a danger for yourself".
So Gothenburg here I come ! Tomorrow it's the last performance by BWO for this Summer in Sweden. Today the rain is hailing down, but doesn't matter, cause tomorrow's gig is indoors with Mix Megapol Tour.
Also Pauline (that I am still trying to deal with as good music, sorry) and Lili & Susie will be there. So a bit of nostalgy really.
I think it will be a great night. Now also interesting who will be the winner of tomorrow's competition for the next Swedish male artist.
I have been on Mix Megapol Tour twice and both times I have picked the winner easily.

I have been sitting and counting and this is the 11th time I will see Marina, Martin and Alexander on stage this year. If I have counted right.
Has been a long but wonderful year since all started a cold February eve in Leksand.
And the magic is still there. Wherever you perform I always think you reach out to us fans and see us.
So tomorrow Gothenburg...and of course I will write more then.

Gravitonas-new band of Alexander

So today on Electronordica the news was official. When Martin will have a baby (CONGRATULATE !), Alexander is on to a new project. He is going to produce a new band called Gravitonas.
BUT after Gravitonas release of debutalbum in spring 2010, Alexander, Marina and Martin will start working on a new album for BWO.

Gravitonas leader out will be the singer Andreas Öhrn. I don't know much about him.
The album will be produced together with Henrik Wikström.
Henrik is coproducer and cowriter on Big Science. He has also written and produced a lot for artists like Bosson, Måns Zelmerlöw, Carola Häggkvist and Magnus Carlsson.

He was also involved in Lay Your Love On Me.

Gravitonas will be deeper and darker then all other Alexander's projects.
The sound is electro/rock.

I think this is very interesting. I hope the sound will be like the older synth bands from the 80ies. We have to wait until early 2010 to know more.
This will probably also be a good break for BWO to get new fresh ideas and then come back working together. And in all we now have more singel releases from Big Science to look forward to.

Now there is 3 smaller gigs left for this Summer in Sweden. This week with Rix FM Festival in Kalmar and Växjö and next week with Mix Megapol in Gothenburg.
Be sure to go see them. If the tour was good last Summer, now it's amazing !
I have had a wonderful Summer visiting all gigs I have been able to go to and seing so many beautiful places.

The gig in Linköping

Just got home to my daughter's apartment in Linköping after Mix Megapol gig and a couple of beers, That is seldom for me, only when it's Summer and very hot.
There was thunder earlier this eve and in the club it was very hot.
Like last time in Örebro the eve started out with a competition to try find the next big male artist in Sweden. 10 guys sang acapella this evening. The funny was that I for second time had choosen the same winner as the jury !
Like in every competition there is something odd always. This eve it was a guy that did put a tuning fork to his ear and sang Hallelujah. Hmmmm totally wrong competition for that! I am sorry, but I laughed. I thought I had come to a church or more to some religious sect.
After the competition 2 very talented girls played. They were the answer to Pet Shop Boys and called themselves West End Girls. Very good electronic music. I hope to hear them more times.
After that Pauline showed up once again. I liked her better today then last time in Örebro. She has a very good voice, but it's something with the music that makes her boring. If she should change music, I am sure she would be much better.
Then our friends Alexander,Marina and Martin was on stage. Was not easy to take photos this eve, but I got some good shots. The audience was very happy to see them.
Me too of course. They did RHRN, RTTO, LYLOM and You're Not Alone as ballad.
Ohh gosh what I wanted to hear more ! The full concerts makes me spoiled.
BWO did a very good gig and they look relaxed, happy and pleased on stage.
Afterwards I handled over the e-mails with congratulations that you had sent.
Very sweet of you to do. Go on and write cause they really do appriciate all feed back from the fans.
A gig at a club is much more fun to be at then out at a Festival. You get a close contact with them and you more sort of feel like you are on stage with the band.
Lucky you guys that you can't hear me sing though...what a nightmare !
So after BWO Velvet turned up. She started off with The Queen. She also did her latest hit that she released in UK recently.
She was flirting with the audience. A funny girl to see on stage. All though she has no instruments and just is standing there on her own, she makes a great show.
Will be interesting to see the upcoming UK release together with BWO.
To mention, she said that she came straight from the Pride Festival in Stockholm.
A very nice eve with a great audience.
To honour The Pride Festival week I was dressed in black with the Pride colors on my t-shirt and on my shoes.

BWO at Mix Megapol in Linköping

Tonight BWO will attend to another Mix Megapol gig, like that one in Örebro.
With them tonight is Pauline like last time, but suprisingly also Velvet.
Last time I saw Velvet was in Leksand during Melodifestivalen when she competed with The Queen.

She had a very spectacular dress. I thought she would come better then she did.
Now only a month until BWO and Velvet release Right Here Right Now together in UK. I talked with some UK people yesterday and they look forward to the release and think this will be a big hit in UK.
I doubt that I will hear them do RHRN together tonight, but who knows, suprises can always appear. Anyways I hope to see them live together if they do some gig in UK.

Here is a translation of the words that a journalist(Erik Sjölander) wrote about BWO's gig in Härnösand:
"But if Charlotte Perrelli miss hits so is BWO the opposite. As a finale to a well-off edition of City Festival the trio perfectly pour qualitypop over the audience. Rolinski is as honest as Perrelli: "we care about one thing - good songs." There is no discussion. Radio plagues "Sunshine In The Rain" and "Open Doors" is incorporated into a playlist that would otherwise get the most from the new album Big Science.

Although many other bands had risked some response to such efforts is the new material so well that it stand up against the band's older hits. Especially during "Right here right now" and closing ballad "You're not alone" is Rolinski carried away and loose himelf in the choreography. And I promise that there was not a foot during the gig - who ever it belongs to - which could not fail to stamp with."

BWO in Härnösand impressions

If you ever have been to a music festival like Hultsfred, well then you understand how the place was looking at Härnösand City Festival where BWO played Saturday eve.
Like Martin said, from the stage you could see a spot in middle where there was empty in front of the stage. Yes, there was a lot of mud !
The rain the days before had made the area to mud.
But during this eve we had nice weather.
Annelie and Ann-Sofie and me got there in a good time before the gig. You never know when you like me come in wheelchair and want a good spot to take photos from, if there is any good spot to find.
The area for wheelchairs was too long from stage and didn't make me see anything.
Luckily I could get in touch with the right people and was allowed to sit in front of the stage in the security area.(Many thanks to the Festival Manager for the help!)
To be on this Festival was almost like when I was in Eskilstuna at the RixFM Festival. The area where the Festival was held was at like an Island, so you had to go over a bridge to get there. Water makes a lot to the feeling.
Before BWO Charlotte Perelli sang. She has been in Melodifestivalen twice, but weird is that she doesn't have more then these 2 songs that are her own. She sang for instance Dolly Parton's Nine To Five. How odd is that ??
Ohh well back to speaking of BWO. The gig was very nice. You can tell more and more from seing the first concerts in beginning of Summer to see that one now, that everything is better for everytime. Well I don't mean they haven't been good before, but the concert was even better now. Did that make sense ? Maybe..LOL !
Before the audience was screaming for them to come out..saying " Give me a B...BBB..give me a W...WWWWW...Give me a O....OOOOO...and that makes...BWO !!!"
I think the audience was much better here then in Motala.
According to BWO, they were very pleased with both the gig in Piteå and here in Härnösand.
The photos from this concert can be a bit odd, that is because I choosed to pick some of them that shows that Martin is everywhere on stage. In general you don't see such photos. Though that could be fun for you that haven't been on a live gig to see.
The playlist was the same as in Motala I believe. A good mix of songs that show how many hits they really have had. In Allehanda a local daily paper you could read about that. I will make a short translation later about the good words that the journalist wrote about BWO.
In all this was a lovely evening. BWO did have a signing after and the queue was long.
In all this Festival had a familybased audience. I think that also shows that BWO has fans in all ages.
Now if I should make some words about how I see BWO on stage.
Martin: energy, the voice, captivating.
Alexander: hitmaker,the soul of BWO, the fun on stage.
Marina: grace, happiness, the calm one.
Maybe that says something for everyone that can't be on a live gig.
Once again Martin, Alexander and Marina for a great gig and taking you time.

Tonight (25/7), Annelie, Ann-Sofie and I were in Härnösand to see BWO.
Later today you will be able read more about the concert. We were pleased with the concert and so was BWO !

In the paper Allehanda you can read a smaller interview today with Martin that is about their gig tonight at Härnösand's city festival...and here is the translation:

"BWO is ready for the City Festival
They are ready for the weekend.When all the other artists made Härnösands city festival BWO will step out and top everything. The singer Martin Rolinski looks forward to that.
- We have had really good feedback north so I am not at all worried. Have the people with you that helps keep track of things you can in fact be ready four gigs a week. It is a pity is that it is not much time to stop and look around where you play.
In April, dropped the pop-trio the new album Big Science, which, at this stage in the band's career, have been met with expected success. First single "You're not alone" was voted up to the second chance in Melodifestivalen, and in summer, "Right here right now" moved into the lists in both the U.S. and Japan. And as a whole disc is like a love child. Rolinski reluctant to call it "the best we have done", but in the end find no other words.
- It is a very natural way for us to come right now, "he says. Compared with our earlier material is Big Science more real and complex - something we have longed after to do. We have always cared to write our own songs and so it is fun when you can take turns out like this.
Any holiday, they have barely had time for. Alexander Bard, bandets grundare, ägnar sin tid utanför BWO åt att skriva böcker, hålla föreläsningar och engagera sig politiskt. Alexander Bard, the band's founder, give his time outside the BWO to write books, give lectures and engage politically. Marina Schiptjenko runs a successful art gallery, and Martin himself combines the role of popsinger with a job as a product developer for TeliaSonera.
- Innovation is very important for us all three, and to have a breadth of what we do. Personally I love all types of communication and can express it through my two jobs. Vi har många bollar i luften alla tre, men det har gått att hantera bra. We have many balls in the air all three, but it has gone well to handle.
The peace mayb not be forever. Recently Martin and his wife revealed that they are expecting children before the end of the year. How it will affect the hectic life that Martin describes, he doesn't know, but it certainly will be some change he believe.
- It will be like entering a new phase. Life will certainly undergo changes, but in what way is probably up to itself. Anyway, it should be really exciting to be a father. I need someone to check my hyperactive side.

Yes, now the girls finally are back together after almost 4 months.
We just needed to meet and the laughs was still there.
Today we managed to go 3 girls and a wheelchair in a Volkswagen Bubbla..you know like the car Herbie ! Or Käfer like the Germans says or Beetle like the Englishmen says.
So here the adventures begin AGAIN !!!

Yes, I do some. Cause without them I wouldn't be able to go around Sweden on concerts.
Tomorrow morning early and bright I am heading north to Sundsvall to visit the sisters (Annelie and Ann-Sofie) that was together with me in Leksand during Melodifestivalen and also visited me in my hometown during Second chance.
Finally all 3 of us is together again !!
MISSION is NOT impossible, MISSION is going to Härnösand and watch BWO at Saturday.
Some friends of mine told me the weather wasn't the best in Helsingborg tonight, while seing BWO at RixFM Festival.
I hope they get better weather in Piteå tomorrow and of course at Saturday in Härnösand.

Today as it was with Mix Megapol BWO didn't do a full concert, but with the songs they had choosen I was very pleased.
They started out first with Right Here Right Now.
RHRN was not one of my favorites from start when Big Science came out. But RHRN is now to one of the songs I MUST hear every day.
RHRN makes you happy from toes to top of head. Can never bore me out.
As second they had choosen Rise To The Occasion, the Marina song as I call it.
When I heard RTTO in Motala I was happy, but today even more. I don't know what you guys have done that are different since Motala, but something was better.
The third song made the audience sing loud. Can you guess ? Yes, that was Lay Your Love On Me ! Will probably always be a number one hit.
As last out they played my favorit, You're Not Alone as a ballad.
I don't know what is up with this magic song..Alexander, Marina and Martin...I am sold ! This is the best song you have made ever.
I know many people I have talked to in different ages and all says the same..this song is growing and growing.
Thanks for letting me feel this magic. I know I have said this before..but I can go on forever !
In all to hear only 4 songs this was a nice time. My friend thought the same...and we had the best spot, of course in front of the stage !

BWO at Mix Megapol Tour in Örebro

The day started a bit weird here. After a time delay on the train, when changing train in Hallsberg, me and another girl got on wrong train and ended up in Motala instead of going to Örebro. So what to do in Motala if you need to wait an hour for going in right way back ? Well, we went to the harbour and took an icecream. The time delay ended with 3 hours late to Örebro ! Silly when they show you wrong train !
Mix Megapol is on tour to find a new male artist with local competitions all across Sweden.
Today the time had come to Örebro.
The competition in itself was rather rough for the competing people.
They have already called in once and sung a bit and been taken out for those competitions. There were guys from Mora, Stockholm and other places.
When they went on stage one by one they had NO music, just sang acapella.
A high quality of the competing guys and on the photo you see the winner this eve...don't ask me his name, but he will be up on Mix Megapol site (www.mixmegapol.com)
The jury consisted of 3 people.
After that there were time for artists, first Kim from the project Made in Sweden and then an artist called Pauline (sorry to say this, but I thought she were someone local from Mix Megapol doing in between entertainment).
Then BWO......

Summer moves on...

Wow, over a week since I wrote something here and sooo much is happening all the time. I don't know but with age seems that time passes by even quicker.
Wasn't the Summerholidays longer when we were kids ?
Well, you tell me !
On Thursday I will be in Örebro and go to Frimis to attend at Mix Megapol evening, where BWO is one of the performing artists.
I am grass widow and so is my wheeler(wheelchair) buddie this week, so we are planning on getting out this eve.
Of course I am going to take photos and make some kind of report from the eve.
Sometimes you wish you could take the whole stage wherever all fans is and just have the performance in the whole wide world at same time. Well, that's impossible, but a thought I wish could become true.

The Mix Megapol tour is a competition to find a new male artist and they search in several cities around Sweden and in every city some famous artists perform also.

E-type

The show with E-type was crowded and hot and like the Swedish program "Allsång på Skansen", when everyone sings together. I bet almost everyone in the audience was singing. There was also fireworks at the stage.
E-type did throw out the microphone now and then to the audience so they could sing.
A great end of a lovely Festival.
