End Of Chapter 1: "Good by FanClub Blog" - Welcome "Nettan's BWOrld"

Hereby, I do now my last entry on this blogsite. Since middle of November 2008 we published the whole news around BWO here on the blog site and kept you here up to date during
closing period of our main fan site.

Now we have the new website published (www.bwo-fanclub.com) and you can read all news and even more around the band there.

Now I hand over this side to our Swedish woman employee “Annette Svensson (Nettan)”, and she will tell here about her adventures with BWO. This will be an actual “blog” from the very beginning. Be excited, what Nettan will report here for example concerning the Leksand weekend (20th/21st February)!
I wish you much fun while reading this and hope you'll often have a look here in addition to the largest BWO Site on the whole planet!

TONIGHT: The New FanClub goes online!

Tonight is the night! - After 6 months working behind the scene, with help of many friends and hard times... the new fanclub website will go online. With over 85 sites we created the biggest fansite around the globe and hope the fans will like our site.

We wish to announce, that you can use a "feedback"-forumlar on the FanClub website to tell us what you think about the website...

And what will happen with this blogsite?
This blogsite will be from tomorrow on the "NETTAN'S BWORLD". We will give her "her own site" and you the chance to read all about the adventures of Nettan with BWO on concerts and backstage as well! The first report of this Diary will be about the Leksand weekend (21st February)... watch out here.

Here our translation for all non-Swedish-speaking fans who'd like to know, what BWO says in our video here on the blogsite:

Martin: Its name is "You're Not Alone". And what should I say? It has the extraordinary gift to make me a better singer than I really think I am.
Alexander: You aren't so bad, Martin.
Martin: No, but I...
Alexander: You sing really well.
Martin: The song is good.
Alexander: What he's trying to say is, this is his "I will always love you". Actually, that it is!
Martin: Precisely and without that part I am not alike... but about Whitney...
Marina: Then... don't say that.
Martin: No right that... thank you for that.
Alexander: Change haircolor and sex then you look a bit like Whitney Houston.
Martin: With some preparates and that kind of stuff then.
Marina: We should top last year's scene dress with doing the opposite. That is BWO's basic ground. We do everything the opposite way. So don't expect rysch pysch this time.
Martin: It's gonna be...
Marina: It will be very ambitious, very handsome and hopefully very crazy.
Martin: We don't like to disclose.
Alexander: And, of course,we don't walk around in last year's fashion that is on sale at H&M like a lot of other artists in schlager do. So we are the worst clothes' snobs. We have the most expensive clothes. And we are proud of that.

Alexander: The best is, when you are three and you have to vote, there are always 2 against 1 and then you can take a fast decision. To be 4 mostly is hell, poor ABBA. I understand that they had big disagreements.
Martin: The reason why we are here again this year is because what we do now is very different. What happened was that we saw how everything went in Belgrad. And then Marina called Alexander in a bad mood: "Hey you Alexander! Number 1: We are going to Moscow. Number 2: We can do this so much better." And fact is, the song we have, the ballad, is so much better than what Dima Bilan had.

Only 3 days - More than a website for you: The New BWO FanClub Worldwide

BWO AND THE FANS

As Martin Rolinski says: BWO is nothing without its fans, that gives us the opportunity to express ourselves and our music. So now when BWO is releasing a new album and has their 5th birthday, also the fanclub releases a new site.

The fanclub that is 3 years and was started by Thomas Schmidt, one of BWO's German fans, open a totally new and fresh site Sunday 1st of February. The fanclub exisits in 9 languages.

Thomas Schmidt who is behind the fanclub, discovered BWO when they released "Living In A Fantasy" and was sold from the beginning. So, on 15th of March 2006 the first website was opened.

5 days later he got Alexander Bard's agreement and a commitment was done to cooperate.

As BWO was a totally new band, there was no fanclub in Germany and Thomas wanted to change that. Now the fanclub has grown and has almost fans from all continents.

There are fans speaking different languages, so commitments have been developed between the fans in the different countries. The new website is a result of the commitment between fans in different countries.

BWO FanClub Worldwide has also a sistersite called Electronordica. Nicolas Gérin from Belgium is leading that site.

I had the opportunity to ask some questions to Thomas, who is with no doubt one of the biggest BWO fans. I wondered how it is to be a BWO fan. Due to Thomas there are no bad days.

You only need to put on an album with BWO and you get happy. Though he says that it can be hard to get material about BWO if you live in certain parts of the world. That is also a reason why the fanclub tries to stay as international as possible.

The ultimate BWO tune is Barcelona, Thomas thinks. That one includes everything that makes BWO so special.

For the future Thomas wants the fanclub to be the direct link between BWO and the fans.

The fanclub should make everything easier for BWO in their work, but also take care of the fans and give them the latest news. He wants to be there for the fans to help BWO out, answer questions and try to fulfill the fans's wishes. The fanclub should't only be a club, more as a lifestyle... a fanlife!

Around the Final in Globen and the fanclub's 3 years birthday and BWO's 5 years birthday, there will be a big fanmeeting in Stockholm the 15th of March. One girl is coming all way from Japan.

Today we got the first official BWO-Bonnier-Cover... we see here the new style, which we would also see on stage at the Melodifestivalen...

We can also confirm the official release date of the 5th BWO studio album "Big Science". Take care to save the date: April 1st 2009 to buy the brand new album!

ELLE Galan 2009 - BWO was there

What "Victoria Secrets Show" is for the United States, is "ELLE Galan" for Sweden! The biggest fashion award event in Scandinavia. Our Marina won last year the Elle Award 2008 and also was there this year. Just like Martin with his wife Katarina! The current photos of BWO! We are searching for more!

BIG SCIENCE - The new BWO album!

Yes, it's true! The new BWO album is called "Big Science"... we can also announce the following news around the first "Bonnier Amigo"-Recordlabel-Album:

The first single "You're Not Alone" will be released both as a ballad and a disco version (exactly like the classic hit "Open Door") in early March. The ballad version will participate in Melodifestivalen beginning with the semifnal in Leksand on February 21. Here we can hear the 60-second-worldpremiere on Friday February 20th afternoon!!!! The maxi-single will fature a rich variety of remixes by SoundFactory, Michel Zitron, Skyylab and Oscar Holter. A video will be directed by Kamisol (who made "Chariots Of Fire", "Lay Your Love On Me", "Give Me The Night" and "Let It Rain").

The brand new BWO album "Big Science" will feature 12 brand new songs and a total of 14 tracks (including two remixes) and be released in early April. Producers include Anders Hansson, Alexander Bard, Henrik Wikström and Johan Fjellström (of Star Pilots fame - they are also participated for Melodifestivalen Round 4!). The track listing comes soon!

A second single is set for a summer (we think May) and a third single for a fall release (maybe August/September) in Scandinavia. If it will be release worldwided, what Bonnier promised us, we will report...

BWO promise a brand new sound inspired by such varied sources as Duran Duran, The Killers, contemporary electronic pop, classic soul and R&B, and a brand new look strongly influenced by futurism and science fiction.

Melodifestivalen: BWO at last!

Today SVT have announced the chronological order for every round. At the 3rd round where BWO is included we can tell you, that they will start at last. We hope they can make it to the final this time with their perfect ballad.

This is something we wish to celebrate. Therefore, we are involved now to piece together a large BWO material book! Still, we have no title for it yet. The only thing that we definitely know is that it will become a large book with all pictures and highlights from 5 years BWO!

We hereby call all of you to participate!
We want original letters of you, which are addressed to BWO. Birthday maps and greetings. Pictures, paintings, gifts… everything you want to add. We need YOUR assistance to make it big. Take your part in this large book.

What a great year is finished! And what a fantastic year will come! At first, we will definitely wish every BWO fan around the world all best for 2009! We hope, we can give you with our work on the websites (here on the blogsite and further on the brandnew fanclub-website, which we will re-open on February 1st 2009!) more and more the feeling to be a part of BWO!

And we have a lot of news for you all in 2009:
